Baby by Numbers

3 - the number of children I will have when this baby is born

14 - the number of grandchildren my parents will have when this baby is born

7 - the number of grandchildren my in-laws will have when this baby is born

18 - the number of days I have left in this pregnancy, also the number of times I have to pee each day

4 - the average number of times I wake up each night to roll over my belly

17 - the number of Dr. visits I've had for this baby

123 - the number of times I've answered the question, "How you feeling?"

267 - the number of times I've wondered if I can really be a good mother to a third child

267 - the number of times I've been reassured by my Father in Heaven that, yes, I can

5 - how often I've picked up my 35,000+ Baby Names book to look for a girl's name only to flip to the name Jack and (re-)read its meaning

7 - the number of times I've almost asked my Dr. the gender of this baby

8 - the amount of freezer dinners I have waiting for my recovery

58 - the number of times I've cried for no reason during this pregnancy

16 - the number of pounds I've gained since learning I was pregnant

15 - the number of times I've woken up to find Jeremiah on the couch because I snore, thanks to this pregnancy

15 - the number of times I've felt guilty that Jeremiah had to sleep on the couch, but soon got over it because, hey, I didn't get myself pregnant!

The amount of love I feel for this baby - Innumerable

Jack is a familiar form of Jacob or John. Jacob means supplanter and John means God is gracious.
