I am so tired of feeling second-rate. If I'm not good enough for you leave me out of your life completely. I don't just want to be here when you need me.

You schmuck! You've ALWAYS underestimated your own goodness. Just because others may be "insincere"--it doesn't make YOU any different. You just have to learn to live with them as they are--they world is full of self-centered people. And the surprising thing--they don't think they're self centered.
