Blog Neglect

I have no excuse for not blogging in over a month other than I have added it to my rapidly growing list of things I'm too lazy to do.

I did start an entry on Kenley's birthday early in the morning with every intention of finishing it later in the day after all our celebratory festivities, but Kenley ended up sick and when I went to finish the entry it hadn't been saved. And since I was feeling guilty about not even having made her a birthday cake (we popped some brownies in the oven instead) I didn't start a new entry to tell about her on-again, off-again birthday party.

Another reason I haven't blogged is because I just haven't found much humor in my household lately. The laundry is continually piled up - think 'stuck in a revolving door.' And I've gone through 3 - count them 3 - bottles of carpet spot remover since moving into a house with all cream carpet. What were we thinking?

However, I should be back in the blogosphere more often now that we've moved the computer out of Jack's room. It used to happen that every time I had an idea for a post Jack would be asleep in his room and I would rather let him rest than risk him waking to the sound of my typing.

Anyway, what have I missed?
