The Christmas Spirit

Jack has been so excited for Christmas! The first thing he does every morning is plug in the Christmas lights "so they can be bootiful". After we decorated our tree we let him place the star on top. He was so happy to "put the star on the stick on the tree...like a Garfield".

We've been asking Jack what he wants from Santa and his reply is always "presents." He can't tell you what should be inside there, but he knows he wants presents. He also will tell you "Santa Claus is coming to town" anytime you mention Santa.

The other night before getting into bed he came in to my room to request "Santa music" in his room. He is constantly asking to watch "Frosty the Snowman" and other Christmas specials. He calls wreaths "Skittles" (?) and says, "It's a Candy Land!" every time he sees a candy cane.

His excitement is visible...and audible as he can't stop jumping around. It's been very fun to see his excitement. It's really making the season bright!

I just hope he'll sleep on Christmas Eve so that Santa can actually come!

"Presents" are about all Jayci wants from Santa too, although she is a little more specific- she wants a "purpur (purple) one". Hopefully Santa can pull it off.

That's funny that he calls wreaths Skittles. I wonder where that came from.
