As Isaac was getting ready for school yesterday morning he said, "I want to go on a date with you."
I thought it was cute so I told him, "Maybe while Daddy is home for Christmas break you and I can go out on a date."
"As long as we go to a play place."
I'm not sure what he means so I ask, "You mean like a theater? You want to go to a play?"
"No. Like a place I can play. You know, a play place."
"Oh, I guess we could do that."
"Um, actually I don't want to do that. I don't want to go on a date."
"Why not?
"I'm too young for you."

So he doesn't like kisses, and he doesn't think older women are "datable". You've got nothing to worry about!
What a character he is! Where does he get it from? I love Isaac sooo much! Seriously, he is going to be one of those "old soul, young body" kind of people. Also, I love being able to read your blog again. See you guys next weekend!
That is so funny! Love it! And I can just picture him saying it too.
What a character he is - I use to take each one of my children on a special "play" date too. I would pack a picnic, treats to feed the ducks, and enjoyed every minute of it. They grow up so fast! Love - Aunt Cheryl
Ooooh. I have a feeling this kid is going to be a heart breaker. At least he leaves out all the fluff and gets straight to the facts. I am sure the 13 year old girls won't appreciate that but maybe the 18 year old girls will.
