Last night was Kenley's dance recital. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was so fun to see my little girl doing something that she enjoyed and something that is so dear to my heart. I cry everytime I see anyone performing dance. I miss it so much!
Kenley had fun dancing. Right before her 1st dance she started crying because her headband had fallen off and they had to bring her out in the audience to me. I was so worried that she was going to be too upset to dance, but she pulled it together and the show went on. (The bribe of ice cream after the recital may have had something to do with it.)
All year her dance teacher has told the girls to "find a piece of tape" and Kenley really takes that to heart - even if someone is already standing on hers.
Kenley worked really hard to learn all 3 routines and I think she did really well. She is the youngest in the class and one of the smallest, but I think she put on a BIG performance!
Way to go, Kenley! I love you!

I LOVE IT! Too funny! But what's up with the Empire state building standing in front of her? I thought that the little ones get the front! (Or is that what they just told me cause I sucked so bad?)
Way to Kenley for standing your ground! Hysterical!
